How To Start A $10k/mo Business With No Capital And No Idea (Fool Proof Method)

You’ve probably heard stories about people starting their business in their garages or maybe you hear of those business selling stuff online. There’s all these different ways people is making money nowadays. And today, I want to show you a foolproof method to start a business, even if you don’t have an idea or concept. That’s how I started 10 years ago and this is the method I recommend everyone.


The Beginnings

When I was 20 years old I was starting, I didn’t have the knowledge, I had dropped out of college, I was thinking to get a job in a fast food place. I wasn’t thinking about building a business, I didn’t understand business back then, but then I stumbled upon a person who was offering fitness services. He was like a personal trainer, helping people get fit and he was doing it online.


I thought what if I do the same. I joined these online communities and start helping people with their fitness. My first client paid me $50, then $200 and $500. And I kept going up and up, and within two and a half years I had a six figure business. We had a very rapid growth, in our best months we were making up to $32,000. All by using the formula I’m about to share with you.


The Formula

The formula is to start to offer a service, as simple as that. There’s less risk by starting with this method. Your investment is minimum. When I got started I only paid for my website hosting and that was basically my startup cost. I did sales by chatting with people in online communities. Now you have Facebook, a very powerful online platform to connect with people.


I recommend a virtual service because that’s going to give you the flexibility. You won’t be tied to a physical location, you don’t have to work only with people locally. Besides, if you’re working locally you may have all these extra costs from travelling, equipment or any other costs. Whereas if you work online there are less complications, it’s so simple and you can start working with clients from all over the world.


People Need Online Services

Nowadays, there is a whole economy of online services. There are sites like Fiverr or Freelancer where you can hire or offer any kind of service online. People need online services from all kind, for instance video editing, writing, coaching. And you also find a service in every niche and area you can imagine. So any area of passion you want to work or you have knowledge about, you can start a business. The best thing about it, it’s that you don’t have to be an expert, you can get started at whatever level you’re at.


You don’t need to tell people you’re an expert to get started. You can be a facilitator at first. As you go through the process of becoming an expert, you can start already helping people solve their problems. If you have knowledge about nutrition, you can start by helping people plan healthy meals, or if you have knowledge about fitness, you can help them develop a plan to get in shape.


What will make you an expert and become successful is the value you give people. You need to work on understanding your clients and helping them to solve their problems. If you do a good job, you can get paid for it. Focus on giving value and remember that you don’t need to be an expert to get started.


The Fastest and Less Risky

Offering online services is the fastest way to get started and also there’s no really risk involved. The only thing you’re putting in is your time and energy. But you’re not investing huge amounts of money in a franchise or real estate. That’s what I love the most about this method.


If you want to start any other type of business there will be more costs. For example, if you’re doing a physical product business you have to buy inventory, pay rent for a local or office. All these costs involved make it more difficult. I started just helping people and getting paid for it, and build it up from there. That’s what I recommend if you want to be your own boss and have your own business.  


What Type of Services You Could Offer

You can start providing basic services. For instance, if you know a bit about design, you can go to fiverr and start offering logo designs or creating brochures. If you maybe speak two or three languages, you can offer translating services.


You can also do coaching, if you’re a specialist or have certain knowledge in any area. For example, you are into the fitness industry, you go to the gym, know how to live a healthy style, you can coach people to live a healthier lifestyle.


And finally, you can do consulting. That’s more related to business services. This is a bigger service and you may need a bit more of experience. That experience might come from working on the first to types of services. The critical thing is to pick one of these three and get started.


How You Can Scale Up that Business

There's so many ways you can scale up that business. You can go from one to one service, to doing group things. Having your own information products and you can start delegating and build your team to do services for you. If you’re already an expert the best thing to do is coaching or consulting in that particular area.


If you’re not already an expert, you can start focusing on helping other people building their business. So you become a marketing consultant or basically helping people get customers for their own business. That’s the easiest thing in the world to sell to somebody. And if you’re already getting customers for your business, you already know how it’s done.
